What's new

Looking for some new glasses

I want a very specific type of glass and I cant find it. I have 2 left from hand me downs from my parents, they are approaching 60 years old and suffered at the hands of a generation only learning the effects of dishwashers, so they are both very clouded.

My brother in law has a similar glass but larger...mine, the one below is four ounces.

I would take any size, its the lines of the glass that I love. Very masculine and business like, but elegant proportions.

Does anyone have any ideas?

please excuse the poor makeshift lightbox...I dont have one. The yellow tint is from the flash on my *** PAS, the glass is untinted.

That appears to be a double old fashioned with straight walls and a thick base with an indentation in the bottom. Crate and Barrel has a set of similar glasses:

This set has the indentation on the bottom but also ones on the walls of the glass. I actually own a set of these (along with the 17 oz size) and like them a lot. Easy to hold, but still elegant and masculine.

The C&B glasses are immediately what I thought of as well. I have a set of them.

Thanks gents. I had previously sent a photo of my glass to Replacements Ltd. and was led to a dead end. You here led me to some new glasses. Today I bought, from The Bowl Company, Darlington Crystal Dimple glasses. I ordered 4 old fashioned (4 oz.) and 2 double old fashioned (6.25 oz.). Not cheap at $20 per glass after tax and shipping, but they look to be right on and exactly what I wanted. I would not have found them without the impetus provided here. Thanks.

Nice glassware, classy yet modern, stylish.

Makes me ponder finding some nice rocks glasses of my own and filling them with scotch...
