I've got two SRs on my bench this week. One is a Brantford razor for which the origin is pretty straight forward, Brantford Ontario. The other one is a 47-11. I've run into these razors before but never one worth refinishing. They tend to be small and basic. The front side of the tang is stamped "47-11 Reg." and the back side has "Made in USA" and nothing else. I have seen it referred to as a Canadian razor but the made in USA stamp contradicts that.
I'm hoping someone has an idea of where these where these were manufactured and by what cutlery.
