Looking at the open comb, but would like to know more about them, fair pricing for a user grade?
Hope I can pick one up soon.
Any eye candy, stories behind yours?

If you are a collector/user then i would agree. The #77 design is the most rare of all the sets it seems. They are great looking sets. Sometimes I think I like them more than Gillettes. Here are mine:
So the question still remains, what does one have to spend to get a good condition user grade specimen, not a collector grade pristine model?
It varies by models....the Open combs were made in larger amounts and go for less. The #77 is more fragile due to its parts and build so they did not last in vast amounts. This make it more rare and expensive.
That is a steal at 300......I paid $50 for my user-grade #51. This #77 just sold on the 'Bay for more than $300.
