I've been agonizing over whether or not I should spend the $$$ to buy this Muhle Stylo shaving set and I finally found a place in Germany where I was able to get it at a good price.
I actually bought it from a barber shop in the Heilbronn area of Germany that I found online by doing a Google image search then visiting the page. His site was in German so I asked my buddy who lives in Germany to call him and arrange for the purchase. It turned out that the owner of the barber shop spoke excellent English and we communicated directly by email and finalized the transaction, which was very simple.

Now about the goods...
I was torn between the Thuja wood finish vs. the African Blackwood and I decided on the latter since I already have a custom set from Elite Razor in Amboyna Burl (very similar to Thuja). I have to say that the pictures do not do this set justice, especially my crappy iphone pictures! It's beautiful and I could not be happier.
I decided to try Muhle's Silvertip Fibre knot because I heard so many good reviews and I ended up saving about 50 EUR. If I don't like it, I can get a knot made by one of the brush vendors and for what I saved (roughly $70), I can get a very good silvertip knot. So, here are a couple of pictures. I'd love to hear your feedback; honest feedback. Thanks.
