I just got a bottle of Bavx in the mail today. It was a blind purchase. Not something I typically do but with the Cade scare... anyway, I'm sure glad I did. Great stuff and very similar to l'artisan's Amber Extreme, which I regularly wear. Too bad they were out of the deodorant and don't do back orders. I would have bought one of those to try too. One whiff of this made me wish they made a Bavx shaving soap!

Several of their fragrances would make great soaps. I really like Vetyver.

Too bad they only make a Bavx bath soap. Think i'm gonna have to get a bar and see how it shaves.

I think Badian and Bavx should have their own shaving line...hell I think all the L'occitane scents should have their own accompanying shave line.
I would love to have L'Occitan scented soap, but they seem to be getting out of the shave soap business. 
Van der Bavx?
I agree with all these. I'd love:
- More AS splashes
- shave sticks
- more Baux and Vetyver products
- a Cade cologne
- a Sandalwood line
- a quiet death to cheap aquatic products
The Baux bath soap is fantastic, so is the deodorant. And the EDT. And the ASB. Hell, it's one of the finest scents out there, and yet you don't smell it on the street. Ever. So grab yours and be special!

I dropped customer service a line and mentioned that I'd buy Bavx shaving soap if they made it. I also lamented their decision to discontinue the Cade splash.
Funny thing was I blind purchased the Bavx as well when they were having their sale. I normally don't buy colognes blind and was planning on buying their normal EdT, but during checkout I was reading reviews on here about Bavx and decided to pull the trigger. I am impressed. It is a really good cologne and you can't beat the price as opposed to paying for a 3.4oz cologne at Macy's or something.
A shaving soap of this stuff would be awesome!
Why not talk to one of our artisan soapers and see if one of them could concoct a shaving soap with this scent. Better than using Van der Hagen, because no matter what the VDH retains its Grey Flannel scent in the background.

I know many of them take pride in producing originals, not "types," and I respect that.....but honestly, if somebody came up with a scent that was really close, I'm scared at how much I might buy.
