Lightweight Moisturizer

Looking for something lightweight

Currently using Baxter's Oil Free moisturizer or Origins Save the Males

I like both (esp. stm) but looking if there are any other options. STM is nice and lightweight w/ a nice scent while Baxter's feels quite a bit heavier. Baxter's is $18 for 4oz while STM is $33.50 for 2.5oz.

I like Jack Black Double duty. US residents are lucky, they can get it for about $25. Here in Aus it's twice that, so I use Men-U matt instead. Both are very light and easily absorbed. JB is just a bit more luxurious and nice herbal scent.

+1 on the JB it goes on light. Plus it has an SPF of 20.

I use Baxter's during the colder months and Kiehl's Facial Fuel during warmer months. Kieihl's FF is very light weight alsolutely amazing!

Aveeno. It isn't fancy but it is very light and works great. I have been using it for years on my face. Lately I have been getting the off brand and it is almost as good.

Read a piece recently in Esquire. One of the products they recommended was Vaseline For Men (Extra Strength). It goes on very light, and is not at all greasy. Cost about $4.00 at Wal-Mart.

Try the Proraso pre/post cream. I use the Aloe and green tea version and I love it.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizer PM is fantastic for a lightweight moisturizer. Not sure why it's only supposed to be used at night (hence the "PM" designation), but it sure works well then. Haven't tried it during the day.

There are many different forms of lightweight moisturisers.

There are the ones based on water and silicones, that really feels like nothing going on your skin and leaves your skin smooth to the touch. Personally, I break out from them since my skin don't really like silicones.

A good alternative is aloe vera gel with just a drop or two of jojoba oil in it. Goes on smooth, non greasy and really moisturises. The oil is really necessary to keep the moisture on your skin or it will just evaporate during the day. In the silicone primers, of course, the silicone coats the skin to keep the moisture to it.

My personal favourite is yoghurt based moisturisers like the one from Korres or Nuxe. A good budget version is the one from Garden of Wisdom called Meow, Meow Facial lotion in the unscented and waxless version. It will glide on a bit heavier than the lotions you are used to, probably, but a little bit goes a long way and after ten minutes you will have hydrated, happy skin which will help with oiliness too since if the skin is hydrated it produces less oil.
