Lider Classic - A pleasant shave but.

....... not quite as good as Lider Active. It is less slippery than Lider Active, but it does lather more easily.
I got a nick and more alum stings using it than I did using the same razor with Lider Active the other day.

It's smell, which several people have commented adversely about in my thread on Lider Active, didn't bother me much. To me it was a mild half menthol scent that I liked more than the highly menthol scent of Lider Active.

Anybody else have any thoughts on Lider Classic vs Lider Active?

It has a lemony scent with a sort of minty note to my nostrils, but no feeling of any cooling. It is however, a very enjoyable cream. I tried the Active version also but I wasn't too crazy about it.

When you say you weren't too crazy about it, was it the quality of the shave or the somewhat annoying scent that made negative towards it?

I would say the scent was not to my liking and also the drying effect it seemed to have on my skin.

I didn't notice that drying effect, but my face always feels tight from the alum block I apply afterwards, which makes any such judgement of that somewhat nugatory on my part.
