Lessons learned from DE Shaving

NB: I think there may have been a thread similar to this in the past, but I can't find it.

Please feel free to add to this list!

1. More money does not necessarily make a better product *cough*Gillette Fusion ProGlide*cough*
2. More is not always better *cough*Gillette Fusion Proglide again*cough*
 
The products in the Supermarket you once sneered at are now quite valuable to you. ie cheaper creams and soaps.

Shaving can be fun

You start to notice other peoples shaving "flaws" more often.

Agreed, just because a product is cheap doesn't mean it is bad. Also, with a lot of the stuff we traditional shavers use, just because a product is old fashioned and not in flashy packaging doesn't mean it isn't any good.
 
Lessons learned?
- Slowing down and appreciating the here and now.
- A focus on technique
- A Zen and the Art of Double Edge Shaving approch to life..
