LEA Stick Memorial Day PIF

Good evening gentleman! Memorial Day is right around the corner and its time for a PIF. I've collaborated with a good friend on this one so shaverjoe and I are here to offer this PIF to our Active Duty and Veteran members. We appreciate you service and wanted the opportunity to give a little something to you fine gents!

So here's the deal - Joe and I have both recently acquired a new LEA Stick and neither of us have ever tried the soap before. We will be cutting a healthy sample from the stick for 4 lucky winners and sending them out to these gents to give them a try as well. In addition, the recipients will receive an Aftershave sample and some DE Blades.

Some rules:
-Have a CONUS mailing address or APO
-Be a member with an Active Duty or Veteran tag;
-Post your interest in this thread along with which branch of the military you are/were in (as well as any other info or stories you'd like to share with us);
-Have never tried a LEA Stick before; AND
-Promise to post your thoughts on the soap in this thread for all of us to read.

Winner's will receive:
-A sample of 1/3 of an unused LEA Stick
-A healthy AS Sample
-DE Blades
-A choice of a sample of Valobra or Mike's Natural Peppermint & Eucalyptus

We will close this PIF at 12pm PST on Memorial Day and then choose 4 lucky entrants by use of random number generator. Good luck and thanks again for all you've done.

EDIT: Added some additional goodies for the winners. :thumbup1: Increased the sample size of the LEA.
EDIT 2: My buddy Jessy(jzuzphreek) has graciously offered up a sample of Valobra or Mike's Natural Peppermint & Eucalyptus to our winners. The winner will have a choice between the two and the sample will be shipped directly to the winner from Jessy. Thanks for helping with the PIF brother!

This is just a very small PIF Tyler and I thought others might enjoy. Since Memorial Day is rapidly approaching, we wanted to offer it to the men and women of the Armed Forces who frequent this forum and serve our country both in the US and abroad. In addition to the LEA soap, we will include a couple of surprise goodies as well.

Wow, very nice of you guys, thank you!

I'm currently in the Air Force. I've been in a couple of months shy of 12 years (9/11 happened while I was in basic training).

I would love to be in. Arko is the first and only shave stick I have tried and I really like it. I'd love to see what other shave sticks have to offer.

I've got a thick beard so there is little doubt the sample will get used up pretty quickly and I've never been shy about sharing my opinions about anything so I'll report back.

Sounds great. Thank you for your service. My father had 20+ years in the Army before passing while on active duty. I appreciate all your service.

Not in, but I want to say Thank you for this PIF. I have two brothers in the Navy and I know unless you have a loved one in harms way it is difficult to fully appreciate your service.

Thanks for your service! And thanks for participating!

Added some additional goodies to the PIF and edited the original post. There may be a bit more to come as well. Stay tuned and jump in the PIF gents!

Joe and I have decided to up the ante. The winners will now be receiving 1/3 of a stick of LEA soap instead of 1/6. We want the recipients to be able to get a chance to really enjoy the soap and see how it works for them.

Jump on in guys! The water is fine.

Alright guys, this just got a bit better. Jessy (jzuzphreek) has offered to send the winners a sample of Valobra or Mike's. I've updated the thread to reflect this change. So the winners will now be receiving the following:

-A sample of 1/3 of an unused LEA Stick
-A healthy AS Sample
-DE Blades
-A choice of a sample of Valobra or Mike's Natural Peppermint & Eucalyptus

Looks like we have only one entrant at the moment. Come on guys, get in on this!

I'll throw my hat in the ring. I've never tried a shave stick before, so this would be something different.

I'm coming up on 10 years in the Air Force in a couple of months, and find out today if I pick up a promotion or have to try again next year.

Shaving has been a daily part of the military life since we started going to tropical lands full of insect-borne diseases near the end of the 1800s, so I'm glad I've reached the point where it has become enjoyable. I have at least another decade of five-plus shaves a week...

Thanks for the effort you guys are putting into this!

Good luck on the promotion! A little birdie told me I made it today. I hope you get the same news.

What an awesome gesture. Thank you so much. I'd love to get in on this. I've been in the Air Force for the past 15 years. I've never tried Lea but have heard great things about it.

I thought there were a lot more troops and vets here on the B&B. Where you guys at? My brother is a veteran, and I lived vicariously through him for several years while he served. Unfortunately, the minute he retired, he quit shaving. Hasn't shaved in 3 years. I have a feeling the Valobra would be wasted on him. I'm so thankful and proud for his honorable service. But I never miss an opportunity to make fun of his hideous beard.
