I ordered a bunch of samples of Mama Bear soaps. Thus far I've been impressed with the scents (and I pretty much fell in love with the Awakenings one), but the lather has been less than impressive. I suspect that this has to do more with the way I've been using the sample slivers than the quality of the soap. I've been soaking them in a little water then putting the whole sliver on my bowl and lathering that way since they're really too small to load the brush the way I normally would. Is there a better way to use these things? I still have about half my samples to get through and I really want to get the best idea of how a full puck will preform before I buy one.

I use them as mini-sticks. Wet the beard rub them on. I get about 3 shaves per sample.
MB is my everyday soap. Slick and excellent scents. Some people think the cushion isn't as thick as some others. YMMV.
