Kirkewhite brushes

So i snagged last week a couple of what appear to be new in box shaving brushes and have been looking on the web over the last few days but could not find much in the way of info on them if any one can shed some light on the brushes i'd be grateful....

A few larger pics of them both are marked B875 Kirkewhite made in england...

Both knots are quite dense

Nice score! I also have a B875, but it's white (now butterscotch). Mine was heavily used and needed a new knot. It's on the far right here:

The sticker on them looks like the sticker on my little Culmak. And the shape kind of resembles a Culmak too. You can send me one to test if you want to.

Just out of curiosity, when you say snagged, did you find them in some small antique store or something? I am always curious as to the circumstances on how people find stuff, it might help me find interesting stuff in the future!

I got them off ebay and by snagged i mean they cost me less than expected i would have thought they would have fetched a higher price, but i do find stuff else where but if i was to say where then i'd be shooting myself in the foot by telling...

they aren't brittle at all i have used one and its really soft but firm considering the hair looks a bit rough have pictured it next to a best badger to show the hair i really have no idea what grade this would be...

The sticker does look similar to some i have seen on other culmaks as does the shape but its smaller than the majority of culmaks i have seen but who knows perhaps they made it unfortunately im only going to use one so theres no chance of me sending the other out
