Kanwa AS Balm, very nice

I picked up a trial size of Nanka shave gel, and Kanwa AS balm from the Feather Co, at www.classicshaving.com, just to try them out.

I've yet to use the Nanka gel, as it is a non lathering gel, and I'll probable just use it for clean up, but the Kanwa AS balm is a very nice product. It goes on very easy, and absorbs completely dry with no odor at all. I've used it after a couple of straight shaves, and it makes the shaved area feel very nice. It takes care of any razor burn, and gives the skin a very smooth refreshed feel. Since it dries quickly and with no smell at all, you can use whatever AS or fragrance you'd like.

Anyone looking for a good balm to use, I've found this to be excellent and well worth a shot as the trial sample of both is only $8.99 from Classic.

Just a heads up if you're looking to try something different for a balm.

I did the exact same thing just a few weeks ago. I like the Kanwa a lot, for exactly the reasons that you stated: absorbs very quickly and completely, and goes on with near zero detectable scent at all as you go to apply it. Once it's on, forget it: No scent at all. I might actually go back and pick up the regular sized bottle in another month or two. The jury is still out on the Nanka, though. Only used it once, though, and that's nowhere near enough to decide on it.
