So very happy. Correct year and also correct quarter! Was thinking about buying an adjustable Merkur but since this already does this I can focus on a slant for my next purchase. So at 27 dollars did I do okay price wise? My maximum was going to be 30 dollars.

In a little over 2 days I'll be bidding on another for my brothers birthday present. Hope that goes as smoothly.

Congrats!! I picked up a black handled super speed a month ago that was the exact quarter and year of my birthday. At first I felt silly buying it, since I already had one from a different quarter. Now I think I'm ok with it. It's kind of cool to have/use a razor as old as you are.
(For the record, my wife still thinks I was silly. She just doesn't understand my sickness.)

Thanks for the words. I actually have every intent to use it in my rotation. My intent is to will it to my son when I pass and he can give it to his son whenever that happens. I think it will mean more to my future grandson knowing I used it and it's as old as me.
