Just used Proraso for the first time

Wow, ive never been one for the cooling products but this felt great. The cold water splash at the end of the shave...

The lather definitely developed peaks after some whipping action with my shavemac 177. But it did seem a bit slick, i think i may have to alter the water/cream ratio to get it just right.

I am confused, I thought shaving cream was supposed to be super slick?

But anyway, Proraso/ C.O. Bigelow is amazing stuff that should be in everyone's shave den.

yes indeed indeed.
I admit it took me 2 weeks after purchase to get it on the brush. The smell out of the tube was like old grandmothers. When I finally "manned up" and put some in a bowl everything changed.
Awesome.

Whenever I travel a tube of Proraso is alway in my kit.

Hmmm, maybe super slick wasnt the right word to use. It was slick, but the lather seemed just a bit too wet. I still got a great shave from it, the lather was just a bit wetter than i was used too.

Been using Tabac, and assorted T&H creams up to this point.
