John Primble Belknap

A friend of mine gave me a John Primble Belknap today. Is it worth restoring? How do I not mess up the engraving (it says Blue Grass) on the blade? Here are a couple of pics, I cleaned it just enough to see the John Primble, Belknap, and Louisville, KY on it.

Should clean up, home, and shave well.
Worth restoring? Up to you - shouldn't be much work really.
Some metal polish might clear up the blade, the rust might need a little elbow grease though.
