Last week I was in my local Lidl here on the east coast of the US. They had some 3 piece Tech-style razors with blades for $5, so I picked up a couple. The razor is flat black. Admittedly, the knurling is not great. Maybe just not deep enough. However, the razor feels good.
I've been sick for a week now so I haven't shaved and had a fair amount of beard to shave off. I lathered Arko moist after a shower. Loaded up one of the included blades, which are not branded.
It was a surprisingly nice shave. Even with the hacking down the week's worth of growth. The razor felt nice and "safe" like a Tech feels to me, but is more efficient. I am not disappointed for the $5 price tag.
I finished with Lustray blue spice. No real burn. I had a little redness under my jawline, but I'm not blaming it on anything yet.
If anyone happens to come across one, I suggest picking it up for the price. I can't wait to try it with a "known good" blade.
