Does anyone have a DE89L with a bull mastiff handle? I have a DE89L on the way and it's my first DE razor. I plan to put my time in with it and possibly upgrade the handle and was curious as to what people had to say about the mastiffs. I think they are really sharp looking handles but wasn't sure how it looked on or affected the DE89L performance.

A Bull Mastiff handle won't fit a metric head unless metric threads were requested during ordering.
The M5 x 0.8 Metric thread is slightly larger then the #10-32 Gillette uses.
Most Gillette handle have threads that are worn over size and will fit a metric head.
