What's new

I've never really liked menthol

So why am I becoming addicted to the Proraso green tub? It provides such a slick, easy lather. This is really a great product. Very reasonably priced also. The aftershave is ver good as well. Very fresh scent

Once you try Proraso you quickly come to the realization that this is what wetshaving is all about.

I cringe :crying: to think how many shave opportunities were wasted using canned goo before I discovered wetshaving ... along with it came Proraso

Proraso and Omega are the same products.
Here in Europe this kind of soap is known for
a good quality - but it´s a mainstream, low-cost
product. You should try some other brands too
like Arko (soap for about 1 € per 100g and cream in
several different sorts for about 1 € per tube).
They are from Turkey and very well too.

How about Proraso canned goo?

I tried the canned goo (the red one for tough beards) and for canned goo, it was OK. Probably better than the cheaper stuff at the supermarket but nowhere in the same league as the cream or soap.

Prorasa is a fine shave cream; however and not to put a damper any anyone's enthusiasm, I do get a better and more enjoyable shave with C&E Nomad and The Body Shop Macca Root. I bought these for about the same price as Prorasa.

Proraso enthusiasm defies any dampening efforts.
