I realize it's been a while since I've been on here. I've been very busy between my job and a new girlfriend. (I met her and we started dating right around the time that I got the razor). I do apologize for my absence on here, but like I said, I've been extremely busy. I did indeed receive the Gillette razor that danek sent me. It is absolutely beautiful. I am grateful for it, and for this website as well.

If you started dating your girlfriend right around the same time you got your razor, it might be an idea to get a few more razors and start rotating them on a daily basis, just to see what happens. For science, of course.

Thank you for clarifying. I was about to do this. I am indeed female, and have facial hair that I've inherited. DE shaving has been wonderful for me. Now that I've been at it for a while, I rarely get nicks or cuts, vs an irritated chin with the 1, 2, 3, or even 5 blade disposable pieces of plastic that I've tried with little to no success or relief. I have learned some tips and tricks on here. Thank you everybody!

That's quite alright. It's not the first time it's happened.
On a different note, I was kind of bored today, and decided to melt my VDH soap like normal, but I decided to mix in some aftershave (cheap Walgreens brand) and some cologne. Not only do I smell great now, but my face is soft and smooth. I've gotten great shaves in the past, but I'm surprised that the mixture was able to produce such great results. I'm not a huge fan of the green water type aftershave, so this might be a good way to use up what I have.
