All of the razors in my rotation were open combs or adjustable razors.
Until yesterday.
Yesterday, when I was hypnotized by Ray in Gentlemen's Best, I purchased two beautiful razors.
One of those, a 1948 British Aristocrat Jr, is NOT an open comb.
When I came out of my hypnotic trance, I fretted, then dreamed about what a horrid shave I would have if I ever dared to use such a razor.
But as a brave man, I faced what I had done this morning.
Armed with Castle Forbes "The Pre Shave," a Rooney 2/1, D.E. Harris & Co Arlington Shave Stick, my new razor and a new Irridium blade, I boldly entered the shower and went through my morning rituals, including a wonderful shave.
Wow.
It's nice to overcome judgements not based on data.
