Is Proraso White a good soap?

I have found all Proraso soaps and creams to good performers any time I have used them. There might be better products out there but if the objective is a good shave at a good price point, you can't go wrong.

Proraso is a very solid, respectable brand and has been producing great products for decades. Their newest Super Formula creams and soaps are EXCEPTIONAL, especially when used in combo with the matching pre-shaves.

Did they change the pre shave recipe in the new release too?

Yes Sir, they did. The new Super Formula pre-shave is WAY more effective: more slickness in a highly concentrated recipe. It truly gives a boost to the cream (or soap).

I've never tried the white, but I've tried the green and the red, and they are fantastic soaps. Absolute lather bombs, but good quality lather. You can also get rebranded Proraso cream at Bath & Body Works. It's called CO Bigelow shave cream, it costs about $10 for a 5 oz tube. Nice shaving cream. Whips up very nicely.
