Sometimes I move slowly. A couple of years ago, I picked up some Irisch Moos shaving soap. Great performer with a nice fresh fragrance. Yesterday, I finally got my first bottle of the aftershave. I find that it complements the fragrance of the soap, but it's a little different too. What about the EdT? Any fans?

I was torn. On one hand I liked it--classy, deeply green, definitely unique--on the other the scent seemed a little synthetic and didn't have as much depth as it could have (This could be because natural oakmoss is heavily restricted in the industry, and low-atrenol strains are pretty new.) It was a powerful scent that seemed very easy to overdo.
That being said, I had an older mini bottle and would still like a decant from a newer one.

I think scottb hit it on the head. The EDT is a bit different and slightly synthetic and thin. On the other hand, it's definitely Irisch Moos. If you like the AS, you will like the EDT, too. I don't agree with scottb, though, about this being a powerhouse. Sillage is average, IMO.

I had a small decant of the EDT and it's one of the few fragrances I hated from the first sniff and it went down the toilet. Usually I find the "too synthetic!" argument snobby but in this case it applies. It made me think of a sweeter Brut, oversized glasses, and polyester suits.
