Interesting. While reading the first article I thought, "must be horsehair." The second article confirmed my suspicion.

Formalin/formaldehyde, eh? I'm glad Maurice King invented Barbicide! Although I'm not sure how effective Barbicide is against anthrax . . .

Yeah...I think I would skip the formalin soak for your shaving brushes. Shaving around tumors is such a hassle.
