Injector Blades

Hi Folks,

I tried my first injector about 6 months back and it gave me a great comfortable shave. The blades I used were the schick platinum plus that the seller had sent. Since then I have acquired a bunch of injectors, but have not found blades that have suited me. So far I have tried:

- Yellow schicks from amazon - They dont provide as smooth a shave.
- Personna injector blades - These are smooth but dont shave close.

I did get a chance to try the Personna 74, which worked well but hard impossible to find.

Since acquiring Vintage schicks and Personna 74s is improbable are there any other readily available blades I can try?

The ASR (personna) and Schick are the only new blades still made.

Everything else will have to be sourced from NOS finds in the wild

Doesnt look like I will get much more use out of my injectors.

I got 200 blades (10 packs 20 blades per injector) for 19 cents a blade shipped to my door,that should last me a while...

Might take a week or 2 from the UK but well worth it:

I don't know what the yellow Schick blades are that you referenced, but I find that the modern Chinese made Schick blades I can buy at most places are good to shave with, though it is likely that nothing will compete with the vintage blades.

I got really by vintage DE blades, until I found a modern equivalent.

Injector razors are, mostly, inexpensive buys...so this allows for more investment in blades. Keeping that in mind, look for NOS blades and try to keep the price close to or under $1.00 per blade. The good news is you get a lot of shaves per blade....lots!
