Injector blades

You can find Schick injector blades at many pharmacies and grocery stores in your area. Call around to the smaller pharmacies and ask, you should find them.

Outside of local new Schick blades, you can use any online shaving store and get the new Schick blades.

100 blade counts of ASR brand PTFE coated injector blades can be ordered from most of the medical supply houses.

AND.... There is always the supply of discontinued (older) blades that pop up in places like eBay and Esty.

I just bought a couple of Schick adjustable injectors and know nothing about them. Do you have any blade preference? Do thePTFE coatings help?

If you're close to a Lowes Foods, they generally carry the Chinese Schicks in the metal dispenser. Good blades, and IIRC a 7 blade pack went for about $5.50.

I'm a little surprised at how much more expensive the injector blades are than DE's. I could understand if they lasted 20 shaves, but they appear to last about as long as a DE which cost's a quarter as much. I'm thinking maybe one injector razor is all there'll be in the crfcom razor collection. Well, maybe two.

There's the added cost of the cartridge.

I'm a little surprised that you find injector blades to only last as long as a DE blade, crfcom. My experience is that they last AT LEAST twice as long as a DE blade, which I generally toss after 3-4 shaves. Well, I guess that's why we invented the YMMV acronym, isn't it?

I suppose so. When I look at the customer reviews posted at Amazon for Schick injector blades, it seems most get 3 to 4, but my niece's boyfriend has been using a Schick injector razor for years and says he get a month out of one blade. YMMV indeed.
