Last night had my bottle of Deschutes Jubel 2010. I was dissapointed because I was expecting great and got good. I'm a big fan of high alcohol Belgian style beers, so had high hopes. It had all the components of a great beer, but for me they didn't quite come together. My biggest issue was the surprise hops late in the finish.

Rush River Winter Warmer Ale last night.
Last night was a couple of glasses of Yamazaki 12 Year Old.
New Belgium 1554.
Laphroaig 10. I know I keep saying this, but it gets better with each pour!

It doesn't overwhelm with syrupy sweetness. Smokier than Maker's. I'll enjoy it!
