I recently received this from Phil at Bullgoose Shaving as a gift with my regular order. Wow what an incredible blade. As smooth and sharp as anything I can think of including Feathers & Iridiums. I tried them in my 1904 straight bar and Gillette Tech vintage 1961. Same results. Fantastic and 100 blades for $20 what a bargain.

Apparently, these blades were rated quite high in other forums. Glad you like them.
I have a couple but have yet to try them. I think they are also called the WS "Economie".
The Economie is a totally different blade. The Economie is made in Germany whereas the Indian Wilkinson is made in India by Gillette.

I had forgotten how nice these blades really are until I also got a pack from BullGoose (Phil is great with samples). There are also, I think, some Indian (Gillette) made Wilkinson Platinums that are very nice.
Great to see this post. I just bought some original Shulton Old Spice aftershave from India and i thought I would sample some DE blades including the Wilkinsons. Haven't tried them yet, but I'm looking forward to it!!

For some reason Gillette owns Wilkinson Sword India. Everywhere else Wilkinson is owned by Schick. They're just trying to get you to "upgrade" to the name brand with that freebie. I also think that it is funny to see ads on the inside of the wrappers for razors that haven't been advertised in the US for 15 years.
Are these in any way comparable to the NOS Gillette, Schick and/or Wilkinson stainless steel blades?
Mark, I don't think they are quite as good as the NOS blades you mentioned but they are certainly close. If you can't find the old blades the Indian Wilks are up to the task.
My Dad who is 98 has been shaving with wilkinson blades as long as I remember, I gave him a packet of the Indian ones and just yesterday he commented to me how good the blades were and could I get some more

I've just finished shaving with my 10th one of these, and they are very good; I got a week out of each one. May have to get a decent pile of these in...

I just received some of these from India, bought them on E Bay. Seem to be a sharp blade and dirt cheap. Took about three weeks to arrive after the auction was over but what the heck for 12 cents a blade it was worth the wait.
How did they arrive to you - India posts / usps ?
