In praise of SCS soap.

I recently bought the Saint Charles Shave shave dish that had the 'woods' soap pre-poured in it. I've got to say that this unsung shave soap is most excellent. Easily and quickly makes a very dense, very creamy lather. A positive recommendation is in order.

the ingredients include glycerin (demulcent), stearic acid (basically tallow, demulcent), various oils (moisturizing), caster oil (horribly aggressive and strips dirt and oil off your face, hence the other moisturizing oils-- your face would otherwise dry out!), and a few other things that help the blade glide and protect the face.

It's a very high quality product.
