To make the leap to an oc razor. Have a 38c merk and an adjustable Gillette. Been wet shaving for a few years now and want a not too aggressive oc razor. Suggestions? I like the heftier longer handles fwiw. Thanks!

My vote would be for an old long comb new. I use one as my daily driver and it shaves great. You could always swap out the handle if you don't like the factory options.

+1. That's my recommendation as well for a starter OC.

Classy, do you know how to spot the difference between a gillette NEW and a gillette Old Type ? i would recommend either to you for vintage razors,... if you want a new razor check out the Fatip, Cadet, or Italian Barbers newest offerings, which may very well be the same source as the Cadets
