I am leaving the dry dusty plains of Lubbock, and headed to The Woodlands, north of Houston. If anyone has suggestions of good B&M locations, or is interested in a meetup, please let me know. I've loved this community thus far, and look forward to hopefully experiencing it on another level in the near future. I wish you all the best and look forward to many years of camaraderie.

I suggest that you drive south into Houston and visit LifeChek Drugs (5108 San Felipe Street, Houston, Texas 77056; 713-621-1560) for their quite nice selection of shaving amenities like soaps, aftershaves, mugs, etc. You might just find something that you can't do without! I shop there on a semi-regular basis. Have a safe trip.

Welcome to H-town! Of course in addition to the aboved mentioned places (both within 3 miles of me) you'll be near Houston's only Art of Shaving in the Woodlands Mall.

I think there is a Lifecheck Drug store on the north side where you will be staying, and don't buy the Mitchell's Wool Fat from British Isles, it's way over priced.

Well, I blundered into some good info here. I knew about the Art of Shaving in the Woodlands, but didn't know Lifecheck carried good stuff. The San Felipe location is right on the way home! Thanks.
