I'm buying a soap online - need help

I want a soap that just just knock my whiskers off when it comes to lather and overall experience. I know a lot of you here are more experienced and will provide important feedback. thank you guys! :)

If all you've been using is Williams, i think you'll be pretty impressed with most of the soaps you see mentioned around here.

what are you considering?

There are a lot of great soaps out there to knock whiskers off with, but two staples I believe everyone should have are; 1. Tabac and 2. L'Occitance Cade.

The "Magic Powder" or some such burns the whiskers off...

i picked up a can in the market some afternoon, and a fellow came up to me and said "not with that complexion you don't!"

First good soaps you can find online and relatively inexpensive; Tabac (if you can get passed the smell) Taylor's makes a very nice soap in the Sandalwood that is less than AoS but just lacks the AoS quality.

Omega was a favorite for years and is for many who have been around traditional shaving.

I would just recommend with the lesser price ones just so you can learn what you like before you dive in and move up to $30+ soaps.

I can't believe it took soooo long before Tabac was
mentioned

And of all things to steal it's thunder, Williams????

IMO Tabac is the first right of passage in the soap kingdom. It's the standard
of which all others are measured. So to summarize, get Tabac.

AOS Sandalwood is quite nice.

Tabac is very good, and cheap.

MWF is a chance worth taking, you may be one of the ones who absolutely love it.

Anything, anything but Williams!
