Ikon's 85mm Handle-Improved Knurling

Older 80mm Ikon Bulldog on left; 85mm Ikon handle on right in each of these images.

Thanks to Phil at BlueGoose, I received an Ikon 85mm handle. I prefer the added length and deeper knurling on this Ikon handle. The photos are the 80mm Ikon (thanks to AC) on the left and the 85mm on the right; the handles are affixed to DE89 heads.

The Ikon is a great handle, and I'm sure the new addition is great for those who prefer the longer handle.

Looks like the same exact design as the Weber.

I don't like how the knurling is not perpendicular like the first one - looks like it is 10 degrees off center. Would drive me crazy.

Last week I picked up two R41's off the BST, one has a Weber Bulldog handle and the other has an Ikon Bulldog handle. I much refer the Weber handle. Deeper, grippier knurling that yields a better grip in my hand. The Ikon may be a touch more polished and refined looking, but the Weber is no slouch.
