Identifying / Help

Good day gentlemen,

I just received a vintage razor razor. Bought from France, as a lot, together with a British Gillette "Goodwill". So, there are many chances my enigma razor was made in Europe, as well. At first, I thought it might be a Gillette Old type Double Ring. Silver plated. It came in a box Gillette Oxford. The razor has no markings at all, no serial number. What looks weird to me is the locking knob, without rings.
I hope I can use the expertise of some of you gentlemen, and identify this razor. Is it a Gillette, or it might be a copy?
Thank you very much for your attention, gentlemen!

Must be a copy if no markings to be seen anywhere. Nothing on the barrel when disassembled? How does it shave?

No. No markings on the barrel, either. I don't know how does it shave, yet. I just received the razor today. Now it's washed, disinfected, waiting to be used. Soon.
I was hoping it might be an European manufactured one. I have no knowledge of any double ring being produced outside of USA, though. Thanks for help!

Oh... just found this:
The one shown by Mr. gearchow is identical with mine. Plus... he bought it from France, as well. In a Leresche box.
