Ideal and Inexpensive shaving / lathering bowl for USD $2.50

I am currently using a clear glass container to lather my shaving cream/soap. Even though this container wasn't intended for shaving it works great. In my opinion it is the perfect inexpensive shaving / lathering bowl that also serves as ideal storage for loose soaps since it comes with a lid. You can also purchase multiple containers and use them to store different soaps. The containers are a manageable size and stackable. This glass container is the 2cup/470mL Pyrex Simply Store glass container (see Amazon link below). It measures 4.5 in x 2 in/ 11.4 cm x 5 cm; almost the exact measurements recommended on here for the ideal lathering utensil. It fits into the palm of my hand perfectly (see pictures); allowing me to grip it firmly and securely when I lather. The container is also refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, stovetop and microwave safe. I bought mine for USD $2.50 at a local grocery store (Kroger); it was sold separately. I hope you guys find this information useful. Happy shaving, gentlemen!

I had a similar idea but instead use a plastic food storage bowl like this Rubbermaid product. It's more than large enough to bowl lather plus it also perfectly holds a bar of MR GLO soap. For those who are not TOFLAC-U members and like bowl lathering and MR GLO soap for pre-shave face washing, this is a handy, lightweight, (mostly) unbreakable way to travel with your shaving products and ensure you have an acceptable bowl to lather with on the road. You can microwave it to heat it up. Granted, it is no substitute for a fancy scuttle bowl, which would retain heat much more efficiently if that's important for you. Costs a little more than iShave's Pyrex bowl but much lighter and perhaps more likely to survive rough rides through baggage handling. Something about great minds think alike. There's something about fools too but I prefer to ignore that part...

I bought a cheap ceramic bowl and used it for awhile, discovered face lathering, and now it's my favorite cereal bowl.

I get better shaves and I can get more Frosted Mini Wheats in that sucker than is probably prudent.
