Dear Friends
i found this razor with this case but i think there are no relation between them. also razor has no name do know this razor ? and what is the razor belong to this case.? im thinking that razor made in Russia but im not sure.

That's not a Gillette razor and I'm not sure just what it is.

But it looks like you have a nice case for the Gillette British #66!

Ignoring the open comb here, look at the profile of the guide bar, the profile and length of the guide pins, and of the neck on the handle. Might be nothing at all, but could these be of the same manufacturer?

BTW, the case made me jump for a minute until I saw Made in England . Thought it might be a President case (I think those and this British Aristocrat case are nearly Identical?). It'd be great to see that end up with the proper razor in it. If not, I might be interested in taking it off your hands if you've a mind to unload it . But really, I'm sure there's a homeless Member of the British Aristocracy somewhere that would love to move in.

No your quite correct I see the heads are very similar??? This just gets better and better but this one here is in way better condition than mine.

Nope. I really can't see them as related at all. Razors made to accommodate Gillette style blade are going to have many feature in common. But, the differences in basic design of these two razors is so dramatic that I see no correlation at all.

By the way, I just got back from a few estate sales and will start researching the razors now.

I picked up a Schick Dial adjustable injector, Type M-1. Should be nice once cleaned up. And a few other non-shave related items for my wife's "hobby".

a nice looking razor, and a good idea(?) the comb/bar combo is growing on me, I might have to try and find one to try, there goes my only 24 razors rule

Asylumguido there is no marking on this razor or any letter. i wish to have original item with this beautiful case..
razor head one side is open comb other side is like merkur 38C head.

It must be the evolutionary missing link between open combs and safety bar razors that anthropologists have been searching for. Or perhaps it is the common ancestor to both?
