Decided I NEEDED (even though I really didn't) a nice leather travel case for my DE, so I hopped on over to West Coast Shaving and purchased the B&B leather case. It seemed like a lot of work to put the entire chain of folks responsible for my order through for just 1 item, so on a whim, I added in a Merkur 37C Slant. The reviews I've read on this have been all over the board, but I figured it was worth a try.
I tried to restrain myself, but lost to the urge for a new razor.

You'll love it. It has the capacity to shave very close. Only reason I don't use mine is that I prefer long handles. I am getting rid of that one and picking up a 39C. Be aware that if you put a really sharp blade in a slant, it will remove just about anything that is above grade on your face, even more so than your usual razor. Zits, Moles, slight skin imperfections, all may be subject to pain-free but potentially bloody slicing. Oh, but the smoothness of the shave is incomperable.

The slant is awesome. I have both the 37 and the 39. I use both, but personally prefer the heft of the 39. Both are great! Enjoy!
