I. Oxley - Liverpool Razor - Help

Hello All,

I just acquired an I Oxley Liverpool Razor. I can't seem to find much of anything on the history of this company or if it later became a different one. This one is a wedge and pretty heavy. It came with the box. That says:

I Oxley
Cutler
St. John Lane Liverpool

I'll get a Picture up ASAP.

I owned one once maybe 5 years ago. Liverpool only had a small group of Cutlers. My family is originally from there.

I have yet to use this one, I just got it yesterday. I have never shaved with a wedge, can't wait! It doesn't really need much work to get shave ready either. I have yet to hone a wedge either, I'll have to look over some honing posts first. There are three more razors to try ahead of this one though. Good thing I'm a patient man.
