Need help identifying a razor

Hello,

As the title says, I need help identifying this razor.

It was acquired from France and only has the elephant marking - nothing on the back

Can’t help with the ID, sorry, but that’s a beauty! She should hone up nicely.
Do you know - are the scales original?

Looks a bit like the Thiers Issard Sabatier logo.

Thought so too, but the elephant is a bit different - maybe older logo?

The Sabatier logo at Loading... - https://web.archive.org/web/20230507134850/http://www.couteaux-jfl.com/marques.htm (down at the moment) was also a bit different

I did find this TI Sabatier razor which looks similar (homage/replica?)

Not sure if the scales are original - they're horn with lead wedge; the horn had a couple of holes that I filled in

I opened them up, cleaned the blade (some nasty gunk in the pivot area/hole) and used different style pins that look better for me for bigger blades

I did a quick coticule edge to see how the metal feels; steel is not stupid hard as some vintage french razors have, and behaves nicely
I'll need to give more attention to the blade as there's an area on the spine where some weirdness can be felt on the stone. Looking with a loupe, the metal has some pittting/oxidation so I'll need to work to get to clean steel and smooth feel :)
