I need a new safety razor to try.

Ive done de89, krona,
practically all gillettes just about.
I currently use a new, and its been about the best. But I know better exist.

Thinking muhle r41, not sure to pull trigger, lol..

anyone have input on what they favor?

R41 is the last one you want to try as it is the most aggressive/effective/blade exposure, in my opinion.

Ive tried 37c slant, few other merkurs, was getting decent shaves, but more irritation.

SE might be rewarding

Ive stepped into straights, but got a long way to go...

Seems like SE have less blade choices, options... Whats your setup?

I would suggest a fatip or maybe ordering a heavier handle from UFO, tradere or Weber.
