Weeeeell now ....... any half decent machinist should be able to turn a spacer for you out of brass or whatnot.

If it's a new handle you want, I believe a certain Bob may be able to help.

Check the vendor corner. There is bound to be someone in there who either has or can make what you are looking for.

I had the exact same problem with the 1904.

Rudy Vey made me a custom handle and a matching brush to boot.
