Pretty vague pictures for the claim of "It is unused". I'm no expert, but I don't think the blades even match the year.

Wow, even with that second one, it seems pretty poor form to say things like "I just watched one sell on ebay used for over xxx dollars."

I think it would be helpful if feedback left for a transaction appeared on the ended listing. I think we would see far fewer claims of 'new in box' if that would happen.

I was just thinking that I wouldn't pay those amounts of cash for a Gillette razor new or used. I was thinking that it would be silly to do so with so many good new razors selling for less. Then I realized I would be willing to pay $60 for a new Muhle R89. I'm not going to judge anyone on this.

How anyone would believe that the first razor is unused is beyond me, but that second one was quite a nice score.

Hard to imagine he is a student and not the original owner of a 1956 razor

I doubt they have gotten taken, it seems clear to me that it is a used razor.
