I have a ton of blades to use!

I have a crap-load of new blades to try from various places. I already had a few varieties to try from different ventures, but then I ordered an MVP pack from BullGoose, and my new DE89L came with a bunch of Lords. Tomorrow I'm going to try out the Iridiums as I hear they are pretty freakin' sweet. What should I go with after that?

• Lord Super Chrome
• Lord Platinum Class (tried-Meh, not bad. Not great, though)
• Crystal/ Israeli Personnas (tried-Like 'em! )
• Feather Hi Stainless
• Astra Superior Platinum
• Shark Super Stainless
• Shark Super Chrome (tried, also just okay)
• Gillette 7 O'clock ShaprEdge "Yellows"
• Gillette 7 O'clock Permasharp "Greens" from India (Tried-I like these ones a bit)
• Bluebirds (tried-They suck! That's right, I said it.)
• 7 a.m. Platinum Stainless
• Silver Star Super Stainless

Expect a blade-PIF soon. I can't (and don't) like all of em!

I just got a pack of Iridium blades from Phil at Bullgoose. After three shaves, they are up there with Feathers in sharpness. For me they are the smoothest blade I have used. No tugging at all, they just glide and whiskers pop off with a very satisfying sound. I am thinking of buying 100 just to make sure I don't run out for a while. Try the Gillette 7 O'clock Sharpedge after the Iridiums and tell us what you think. I like the yellows better than the greens or the blacks.

Try the 7 O'clock Yellows. Probably my favorite blades, although I'm coming around to Feathers.

To me Feathers turned "harsh" after a couple of shaves. Right now I am set on Super Iridiums, except that the 7 O'Clock Yellow I used yesterday and today is causing me to wonder about switching!

That Iridium was pretty sweet this morning, I must say. If they can last a few shaves, I may have to consider stocking up! Not to be too hasty, though. I have many more to try!
