I got this in the mail from my dad. What is it?

I think it's some sort of an oldtype, but I'm no expert. the case is algae-blue, wiith some sort of a pattern (you can't see on the pic; bad camera).

This one is Made in USA, and not England.

Ahh, thanks a lot. I'll try to polish it with some autosol polisher, and see if I can't get it to spark This is actually my first complete set vintage razor. The other ones I have, I just have the razor, not the case or blades or anything.

Glad I'm not the only one with that particular muscle memory malady. It's a ball end Old Type, though I am so accustomed to the phrase 'ball end Tech', that it sometimes types itself without my consent.
