I had such a great shave today! It was my 4th shave with my straight since I'd gotten it back from honing by raccoonandbrush (thanks again!). I also gave it a few strokes on both sides of my new pasted balsa strop and new cheapo leather strop from whipped dog (awesome service, fair price, great products). I hadn't shaved in 3 days because I was out of town and stuff. Somehow, the combination of a couple attempts under my belt, refined edge and three days growth gave me my favorite shave ever. Not saying it was the best (at least in terms of smoothness) but it was so perfectly comfortable. Everything just clicked. With one wtg pass I was looking at a 90% dfs and my face was just so happy. It was like I was rubbing unicorn wings on my face rather than a blade of steel. Of course I should have just did a little touch up and called it quits but I pressed on because I want to practice my atg pass and I did encounter just a bit of irritation there but I know it was avoidable. I've never had that comfortable a shave with my DE, nor am I ever that cleanly shaven with only one pass. I am going to give away one of my two DEs to a friend at work, keeping my other one because I might want to use it some day, but I am a straight man from this day forward! I wish I could shave five times a day!

that's how I messed up my Spanish Inquisition. I sit here in my cave and just shave constantly without a mirrror, or lather, faceturbate for for a while, and shave some more...
