I am out of Erik Nording's Labrador. I LOVE this blend of tobacco, and as far as I am concerned, this would be my deserted island tobacco. I am thinking of picking up ten tins of the stuff, but need a push forward, or pulled back from the ledge. Who wants to help me out?

You can never have too much of your favorite aging in your cellar...besides, what if they quit making it? Have you thought of that? One day you could wake up and no more Labrador...anywhere...ever. GONE.

There, did that help?

Buy five then five different tins of other stuff, see if you can get a new favourite somewhere else.

Here's an idea Join a pipe forum, were they allow trading of tobaccos, offer to send someone a tin of there favorite in trade for some samples, also shop online retailers offer sample packs, the best way to try more blends without sending a lot on full tins, I could recommend some blends, what type of tobacco to you primarily smoked.

How much is a tin? 10 bucks? 80.00 for an apocalyptic stash doesn't sound too steep.

it's never going to be any cheaper or more available than it is right NOW!

that was my rationale when i started cellaring tobacco.... and boy am I glad I did!!!

The answer(s) at B&B are always yes and/or more! :badger:

Edit- As a stew, I shouldn't even need to remind you of these things...:tongue_sm

Isaac your waffling is setting a poor role model to the men. Solder on lad and do what needs to be done. Think case lots.

The problem is that you are thinking small, twenty tins is more the way to go. Heck, I buy 5 at a time just based on a recommendation. What I don't like, I keep just in case. Besides, you need extra for PIFs, trades, bribes and the like. BTW, if you had ordered twenty tins as soon as you knew this was your favorite blend, we wouldn't be having this discussion now would we?:biggrin1:
