Hi all who helped with my recent dilemma....
And my continued slide into the clutches of SERAD .
I posed the question as to weather I needed to try out an injector as I already had many SE's DE's and even straights.
Well, thanks to a more than generous deal from Krona Kruiser in the vendor section I ended up with a nice cased type G and a type E that opens for cleaning.
Having now shaved with both on several occasions (#5 on one personna coated ss, the best SE count I've managed with anything so far) I can report that it definitely IS a requirement to try these out.
Both give smooth easy DFS and a BBS with a new blade and a bit of care.
I agree with others in that the type E seems a little more aggressive, the type G seeming almost like a cart (but in a good way) as you can just shave and it finds it's own angle i.e. it only has one that works and soon tells you your right with instant feedback.
I also see exactly what others mean when they say it seems like cheating. I have to keep mine at the back of my drawer or the others wouldn't get a look in.
I now have another cased VGC type E Canadian variant also a great shaver.
So thanks to all for your input and help.
