What's new

I can't believe I missed out on this NEW Fil 14!

IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS. IT HAS BEEN ONLY CLEANED WITH SOAP. IT HAS NO SIGNS OF RUST, OR CHIPS OR CRACKS. AND IT HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED
Nothing to add.

I have to hand it to the seller, at least he included pretty clear pictures. But I read through the auction a couple times looking for the "Oops I posted the wrong pictures, that's a Crappy pitted razor I sold last week, this auction is for a NOS one, really!" edit...

Sadly I never found it.

;)

My exchange with the seller:

Me:
Hi,
I was looking at the pics of that NOS Filarmonica, and the description provided. I could not help but notice the enormous amount of pitting on the steel, can you tell me if it was common practice back in the day to produce blades of such appearance?
Thanks
Him:
thanks for your question, but I am no expert in the topic, and I could not answer the question with authority. perhaps, you can get the answer in some of the straight razors blogs.
