My Mergress was my first safety razor, I wanted in and I got a great deal from the BST forum here. The shave has been fantastic, but nowadays the adjustable knob doesn't rotate smoothly for adjusting or releasing the blade. I suspect the knob just needs its threads cleaned, but simply continuing to twist does not release the knob.
Any idea how to take this thing apart without breaking it?
