Be careful with Menthol. It's not great for shaving brushes and unforgiving to work with. A little goes a LONG way. It's also not ideal in shaving soaps as it mildly numbs your skin, causing most people to apply slightly more pressure. My .02 - save the menthol for the aftershave.
