How many do you own and which one is your favourite? I always thought two brushes were all you really needed, but then one day my brush acquisition disorder kicked in and now I own 10. Two horse, three badger and five boar. My favourite is the Vie-Long American style white horse hair brush.

I have 3. 2 Vulfix pure badgers (one for home and one for travel) and 1 Omega boar bristle that I don't get on with very well at all. My brushes are on the affordable side of the fence. I haven't fell down the rabbit hole in my time of wetshaving. Currently seeking the ideal upgrade with the help of the experienced advice given here in this forum.

My Brush Horde: From left to right; Plisson HMW, Generic ?, Shavemac, Plisson Travel brush (in tube), Custom Ivory brush (forgot who made it for me), two Plisson's front and rear (22mm & 24mm), Edwin Jagger for Stoddards shave shop, Simpson Special, Plisson 20mm. I am awaiting a Simpson Harvard 2 (18mm knot) which is in the mail.
Not shown; an aluminum travel tube/brush packed in my Dopp Kit and a Simpson that I gave to my wife. So, that comes to a total count of 13. By the way, my most used is the Simpson Special - I like small brushes, they work best for me. Which is why I'm getting the Simpson Harvard H2 in 18mm.
I currently have 31 brushes. My favorite so far is the Paladin El Dorado.
